What We Did Yesterday After School
I am Tom. Yesterday after school my friends and I had a busy afternoon near the river path. The day started slowly, but many small events happened before dinner.
Yesterday morning our maths test ended at eleven. Two days ago we studied the same topic in the library, so yesterday the questions felt easier than I expected. Last week our teacher warned us about the time limit, and that advice helped during the test.
After school yesterday we met at the bike racks at half past three. Ben arrived five minutes late because his bus stopped twice last month on the same road. Yesterday the traffic moved quickly, and he reached the gate before our plan changed.
We walked to the river path yesterday because the weather looked sunny. Last Saturday rain fell all afternoon, so yesterday dry paths felt like a gift.
