Did You Enjoy the Party Last Night?
I am Marco. Yesterday I met my friend Lena at the bus stop. She looked tired but happy. I asked about her evening because I heard about a party at her neighbour's flat.
Did you enjoy the party last night? Lena smiled and said yes, she did. Did you stay late? She said no, she didn't. She left before eleven because she didn't want to miss the last bus.
Did many people come to the flat? Lena said yes, they did. Did your neighbour cook food for everyone? Yes, he did. He prepared pasta and salad, and guests brought drinks and small cakes.
Did you know most of the guests? Lena said no, she didn't know everyone. Did you talk to the woman in the blue scarf? Yes, she did. The woman worked at the library, and they discussed books for twenty minutes.
