We Didn't Agree About the Film, But We Had Fun
I am Hugo. Last Friday my friends Mia and Jay invited me to the cinema in the town centre. We didn't choose the same film at first, but we didn't argue for long.
Mia didn't want an action movie. Jay didn't want a long drama. I didn't want a comedy we saw advertised on every bus. Did we check three different posters? Yes, we did. Did we read reviews on our phones? Yes, we did, but we didn't trust every comment.
Did the ticket machine work? No, it didn't at first. Did a staff member help us? Yes, she did. Did we buy seats for the seven o'clock show? Yes, we did, in the middle row.
Before the film we didn't eat a big meal. Did Jay buy popcorn? Yes, he did.
