Diary Entry: Planning Our Community Clean-Up Day
Monday, 3 March
I am Priya. Our neighbourhood group is going to hold a clean-up day next Saturday near the river path. I agreed to help organize bags, gloves, and a simple lunch for volunteers who are going to arrive from nine in the morning.
Today I met Rosa at the community centre after work. She is going to print flyers and post them in shop windows along Market Street. I am going to call the council office tomorrow to ask about rubbish collection after we finish. Rosa is going to bring a list of families who signed up last month at the spring fair.
Tuesday felt busy at school. My students asked if we are going to join the event as a class project. I said we are going to spend one hour picking litter if parents are going to sign permission forms.
