The Match Will Start at Eight — A Football Evening
I am Marco. My friends and I planned to watch the city derby on television at Leo's flat on Saturday evening. Leo lives on the fourth floor with a wide screen and two long sofas that fit six people comfortably.
On Friday Leo sent a group message with simple rules. He said the match will start at eight and guests will arrive between seven and seven thirty. He asked us to bring snacks but said he will prepare main dishes if we will tell him about allergies early.
I replied that I will bring crisps and lemonade because the shop near my house will sell large bottles on sale. Sara said she will bake small pies with cheese if her oven will work after a recent repair. Tomas said he will arrive late because his shift will end at six forty-five.
