A Busy Week at the Community Centre
I am Omar. I volunteer at the Riverside Community Centre after school, and this week felt unusually busy. Classes, repairs, and a small concert will happen before Sunday, so staff and volunteers must stay organized.
On Monday the coordinator said we have to set up chairs for a language class. I helped carry stacks from the storage room. The tutor told students they should arrive ten minutes early to choose seats near the board.
Tuesday brought a visit from the council safety officer. She said the kitchen must have a clear path to the exit at all times. We must not store boxes in front of the fire door. The centre will install new signs next month, she said.
