We Chose the Restaurant With the Better Menu
I am Elena. On Friday my colleagues and I wanted dinner after a long week at the design studio. We stood outside two restaurants on Maple Lane and read the menus in the window.
The first place looked more modern than the second one. Its lights were softer, and the tables seemed more spacious than the crowded room next door. However, the prices on the first menu were higher than the prices across the street.
Our manager Sara said the second restaurant offered simpler dishes than the first, but the reviews online were more positive than we expected. The pasta section looked more interesting than the grill list, and the soup options were more varied than yesterday's cafeteria food.
We compared portion photos on our phones. Sara thought the salad bowls in the second restaurant were larger than the bowls in the first photos.
