Interview: Which Shift Was Harder for You?
Reporter: Today we speak with Ana, a nurse who changed hospitals last year. Ana, which shift was harder for you in the beginning?
Ana: The night shift was harder than the morning shift at first. The ward felt quieter than day hours, but emergencies seemed more sudden than I expected.
Reporter: Was the new hospital busier than your previous one?
Ana: Yes, the emergency room is busier than our old unit, especially on weekends. The staff room is smaller than the one I knew before, yet the equipment is newer than most machines in my first hospital.
Reporter: Did patients seem different in any way?
Ana: Some families are more anxious than others at night. Children often sleep more deeply than adults on the children's floor, so footsteps in the corridor sound louder than conversations during the day.
