Diary: This Week Felt Busier Than Last Week
Monday, 12 May
This week already feels busier than last week, and it is only Monday. I woke earlier than usual because the repair team arrived at seven. Their tools were louder than my alarm, so I made coffee stronger than yesterday's cup.
Tuesday, 13 May
Work was more intense than Monday. My inbox grew faster than I cleared it, and the meeting room was hotter than the open office. At lunch the salad was fresher than the sandwich I bought on Monday, but I ate quicker than I wanted because time was shorter than my break.
Wednesday, 14 May
I walked home slower than on Tuesday to calm my head. The park path was muddier than last week after rain, yet the air smelled cleaner than near the main road. A dog on the bench looked friendlier than the one that barked near the bridge.
