Some Snacks for Our Saturday Picnic
I am Emma. On Friday evening my brother Leo and I planned a picnic for Saturday. Mom asked if we had some free time to help her shop. We said yes because the weather looked sunny and warm.
At the supermarket Mom picked some apples and some pears from the fruit section. Leo put some grapes in a small bag. I asked if we needed any oranges, but Mom said we already had some at home.
We walked to the bread aisle. Mom chose some soft rolls and some brown bread. Leo wanted some cheese for the sandwiches. I said we should buy some butter too because we did not have any left in the fridge.
Near the drinks Leo asked if there was any juice on sale. Mom found some apple juice and some water bottles.
