The Health Fair Offered More Advice Than Products
I am Rosa. Last week our town hall hosted a health fair in the community centre. The event was smaller than last year's festival, but it offered more useful talks than any shopping aisle I visited before.
At the entrance a nurse said visitors should register because fire rules allowed fewer people than the hall could hold on paper. She gave us some leaflets and asked if we had any questions about the schedule.
The first talk was about sleep. The doctor said many adults rest less than their bodies need. I learned I should turn off screens earlier than I do now. She recommended some simple habits, but not much medicine, for common tiredness.
Near the back a dietician explained portions. She said some people eat more sugar than they notice in drinks.
