What I Like and Dislike About School Lunch
I am Nina. Our school cafeteria serves lunch every weekday, and students choose from hot meals, salads, and sandwiches. I usually eat with my friends Lily and Omar, and we sit near the window because the light is bright and the view is calm.
I like soup on cold days because it warms my hands and my stomach. The tomato soup is smooth and tasty, and the bread rolls are soft but small. Omar prefers pasta with cheese, but Lily chooses salad because she eats less meat during the week.
The fruit bowl is fresh on Mondays and Tuesdays, and we often find apples, oranges, and bananas on the counter. On Wednesday the bowl looks empty but the cook brings more fruit because she knows students arrive late from sports practice.
