Our Shop Opens At Nine On Weekdays In Winter
I am Rosa. I work at a small bookshop in the town centre. The shop opens at nine on weekdays and at ten on Saturday. On Sunday we stay closed all day.
In the morning I arrive at eight forty-five and switch on the lights. At nine sharp I unlock the door for the first customers. On Monday mornings students come at nine fifteen after their bus arrives at the station.
At lunchtime I eat a sandwich at twelve thirty in the staff room at the back. On busy days I eat quickly at twelve and return to the till at twelve twenty. In December many people shop at midday on their break from work.
On the first day of each month we change the window display at seven before opening.
