We Booked the Cottage On the Fifteenth In July
I am Mia. Last month my partner Alex and I booked a cottage near the lake for our summer holiday. We chose dates on the fifteenth of July and planned to stay until the twenty-second. Travel websites showed good prices in early spring when we searched at night after work.
We arrive at the station at two in the afternoon on the first day. The owner said she would meet us at three at the gate with keys. On Saturday morning we want to swim at ten when the water feels warm near the shallow end.
In the morning on weekdays we usually work at the office until five. On this trip we hope to sleep until eight and eat breakfast at nine on the terrace. In July the sun stays bright at six in the evening above the hills across the water.
