Community Centre Events From Spring to Winter
Our community centre publishes a simple programme each season for families in the district. In spring gardening workshops start on the second Saturday at ten in the yard behind the main hall. At noon volunteers serve soup at long tables near the tool shed.
On Easter Monday children paint eggs at eleven in the craft room while parents talk at the café corner. In April an music teacher offers guitar trials at four on Wednesdays for beginners. At five the same day the library cart arrives with books for all ages.
Summer brings outdoor cinema on the first Friday of June at nine at night when darkness finally falls. On warm evenings people bring blankets and arrive at eight to save space near the screen. In July a football camp runs at nine on weekdays until twelve on the field across the road.
