A Rainy Saturday at the Market

I am Felix. Last Saturday the sky turned grey before breakfast, but my sister Rosa still wanted to visit the farmers market on the other side of town. We took the bus because the rain started early and the streets looked slippery.

At the market entrance a volunteer handed us a map and pointed to the covered section near the fountain. Rosa asked him to circle the bread stall because she forgot where it stood last month. He smiled and marked the spot with a blue pen.

We walked slowly between stalls and bought apples, cheese, and honey from local producers. The cheese seller let us taste two samples and told us the mild one sold faster on rainy days. Rosa chose the mild cheese and asked me to pay while she looked for reusable bags.
