Things I Like Doing After School
I am Jake. When classes finish at three thirty, I like walking home through the park because the air feels fresh and quiet. My friend Ben loves playing football on the field near the river, and he often waits for me with his ball and blue trainers.
At home I enjoy listening to music while I make a snack. I love eating apples with peanut butter, but my sister Mia hates peeling fruit because she says it takes too long. Mia prefers reading comics on the sofa, and she likes drawing characters from her favourite stories.
On Mondays I like visiting the library with Ben. We love borrowing adventure books, and we enjoy sitting on the window bench while we read the first chapters. The librarian knows us, and she likes recommending short novels because we finish them quickly.
