Music We Like Listening To at Home
I am Nina. Music fills our flat every day because each person enjoys different sounds while cooking, studying, or resting. My father loves listening to jazz in the kitchen, and he likes humming along while he washes vegetables for soup.
My mother enjoys classical piano in the afternoon when she works from the dining table. She hates loud bass during calls, so she prefers wearing small headphones while she writes emails to clients in other countries. I like hearing soft piano through the door because it helps me concentrate on language exercises.
My brother Leo loves playing electric guitar in his bedroom, and he enjoys recording short riffs on his phone. He dislikes practising scales slowly, but he likes repeating difficult sections until his fingers move without thinking. Sometimes I hate the noise when I need silence, but I love hearing him improve week after week.
