A Typical Sunday for Our Family

Sunday mornings start slowly in our house because everyone prefers a quiet beginning before the new week. My father loves reading the newspaper at the kitchen table, and my mother enjoys arranging flowers she bought on Saturday at the market near the bridge.

I like sleeping a little later than on school days, and my brother Sam prefers playing soft music while he prepares toast and tea. Sam hates rushing breakfast, so he likes setting the table the night before with plates and cups ready for all of us.

After breakfast we sometimes visit my grandparents across town. Grandma loves baking apple cake, and she enjoys telling stories about her first job in a small bookshop decades ago. Grandpa likes walking in the garden, and he hates missing his daily walk when rain falls for hours.
