How I Spend My Evenings During the Term
Evenings during the school term feel short, and I try to balance rest, study, and small pleasures before sleep. When I arrive home at five, I like taking ten minutes to change clothes and drink water because the commute leaves me tired and thirsty.
After that I usually enjoy reviewing notes from classes while dinner cooks in the kitchen. My mother loves preparing soup on weekdays, and she likes asking about my day while she stirs the pot. I hate studying on an empty stomach, so I prefer eating first and starting homework at six thirty.
On Mondays and Wednesdays I attend a language club online for forty minutes. I enjoy practising pronunciation with classmates from other towns, and I love hearing accents that differ from my region. I dislike joining late
