How Our Street Prepared for the Winter Festival

Every December our street organises a winter festival on the Saturday before Christmas, and neighbours begin planning in early November when evenings grow dark at four thirty. I joined the committee last year because I wanted to know people beyond quick greetings at the bus stop on Main Road.
