Sorry I Missed Our Call — I Had Forgotten to Set My Alarm
Hi Marco,
I owe you an apology for yesterday. We had scheduled a video call at ten to review the partnership draft, but I joined twenty-five minutes late and felt embarrassed the entire morning.
The truth is simple and entirely my fault. I had forgotten to set my alarm after I had stayed up finishing slides for another project. My phone had died overnight because I had left a navigation app running after a late drive home from the studio.
When I woke at ten eighteen, I saw three messages you had sent while I had been asleep. You had waited in the meeting room and had shared the document link twice. By the time I had opened my laptop, you had already started annotating section four alone.
