Friends Since Primary School
Dear Clara, I am sitting at my sunny kitchen table with a cup of morning coffee, thinking back over our shared childhood memories as our twenty-year friendship anniversary approaches. It feels almost unbelievable that we have known each other since primary school, having first shared a wooden desk in Mrs. Campbell's classroom back in September 2004. Writing this letter gives me a wonderful opportunity to express how much your steadfast friendship has enriched my life.
Over the past two decades, our lives have traveled down diverse academic and geographical paths, yet our connection has never faltered. We have supported each other through intense high school examination periods, stressful university transitions, and the exciting challenges of starting our respective careers. You have lived in Glasgow for five years now, while I have remained in Manchester, but physical distance has never diminished our mutual closeness.
