Podcast Monologue: Habits I Have Been Building This Year
Welcome back to Small Steps, the show about everyday change. I am your host, Riley, and today I am talking about habits I have been building this year without waiting for a perfect moment to start.
In January I have been waking fifteen minutes earlier to stretch before breakfast. I have been noticing less stiffness on days when I have been keeping that routine, even though I have been tempted to skip when weather has been cold.
I have been cooking more meals at home since March. Meal kits have been helping on busy Tuesdays, but weekends I have been experimenting with soups friends have been recommending online. My grocery bills have been falling slowly, which has been surprising me pleasantly.
Socially I have been calling one old friend each week instead of only liking posts online.
