Viewing an Apartment We Have Been Considering for Weeks
I am Victor. My partner Lena and I have been considering a second-floor apartment on Cedar Lane for weeks, and yesterday we finally attended an viewing with the estate agent.
We have been searching online since spring after our landlord announced a rent increase we were unwilling to accept. Listings have been appearing slowly in our price range, so this flat caught our attention when a friend has been mentioning the quiet street at a barbecue last month.
The agent greeted us and said previous tenants have been leaving because they bought a house nearer to family. She unlocked the door and explained the building has been undergoing exterior painting, which explains scaffolding we have been noticing from the pavement.
