Letter About Changes That Were Made Last Year
Dear neighbours,
I am writing to summarise the improvements that were made in our building during last year. Many of you asked for updates at the residents meeting in December, and I hope this letter answers your questions.
The roof was repaired in spring after leaks were reported on the fourth floor. Tiles were replaced, and insulation was added so heat is kept inside during winter. Scaffolding was erected for three weeks, and access was controlled for safety.
The entrance hall was painted in June. Walls were washed first, and a warm grey colour was chosen by the committee. New lighting was installed, and postboxes were relabelled so apartment numbers are easier to read.
Elevator maintenance was completed in August. Old cables were inspected, and worn parts were changed before a certificate was issued.
