Safety Briefing Before the Warehouse Shift

Supervisor: Welcome back, team. Before carts might move, listen carefully. Accidents could happen when routines might feel boring, so stay alert all shift.

Worker A: Could you repeat the rule about helmet zones?

Supervisor: Helmets must be worn where overhead loads might pass. If a crane could lift pallets, you may not enter the marked lane without approval.

Worker B: Might we take shortcuts near the loading bay?

Supervisor: You may not. If you cut through, a forklift might not see you in time. First conditional logic is simple: if you might ignore tape, injuries could follow.

Worker A: What if a pallet might fall?

Supervisor: Report it immediately. The area might be closed until debris could be cleared. Passive voice matters here: broken glass is removed by trained staff, not by random volunteers.
