Choosing a New Laptop for University
I need a new laptop before the autumn term starts. My old machine is slow, and therefore I lose time when I write essays. However, I do not want to spend more than six hundred pounds, although better models often cost more.
First I read online reviews. Many students recommend lightweight models; moreover, several articles mention long battery life. In contrast, gaming laptops are powerful, yet they are heavy and therefore less practical for daily travel.
I visited two shops on Saturday. The first shop had friendly staff; however, the prices were higher than online. The second shop offered a discount, and as a result I saved forty pounds. Although the display was smaller, the keyboard felt comfortable.
My friend Maya suggested a refurbished model. She said it could work well; nevertheless, I worried about the warranty.
