Subject: Return of borrowed photography equipment for urban biology project. Dear Dr. Evans, I hope your week is going smoothly. I am writing to inform you that our student fieldwork research group has concluded photographic documentation for the urban wildlife survey. We are now ready to return the digital cameras, tripods, and specialized macro lenses that your department kindly loaned us last fortnight.
We took exceptional care of the equipment throughout our outdoor excursions. After our final field trip along the canal yesterday, we carefully inspected each camera body, wiped off external mud and dust with cleaning cloths, and packed each lens into its padded case. We also transferred all survey photographs onto the shared biology drive and cleared the memory cards completely.
Before returning the gear to the departmental equipment office, we downloaded the standard equipment return form from the university portal.
