The credits rolled and we walked out into cold air. Four of us had watched the new drama at the corner cinema. Opinions surfaced quickly; however, nobody shouted. Therefore the discussion stayed friendly on the pavement.
Leo praised the lead actor. He said every glance felt honest; moreover, the final scene stayed with him for hours. In contrast, Priya found the plot predictable. Although acting was strong, she guessed the twist early.
I sat between their views. The cinematography impressed me; therefore I remembered light more than dialogue. Nevertheless, pacing dragged in the middle hour. Furthermore, side characters deserved more lines.
We entered a café to continue. Hot chocolate warmed our hands; however, the noise made listening harder. Consequently, we switched to shorter sentences and clearer signals. On the other hand, writing quick notes on napkins helped us track points.
