Planning a Weekend Trip With Friends
Last Tuesday four of us met to plan a weekend away, and within minutes everyone wanted to know whether the lakeside cabin was still available. Maya opened her laptop and said she would check if the booking site showed open dates for March.
Tom asked what budget we should set, because he was not sure whether fuel costs had risen since our last trip. He also wondered whether we could share one car or if two vehicles would be safer for gear. Maya replied that she did not know how many bikes we could transport until she saw the roof rack.
I asked whether anyone had spoken to the host about heating. Winter nights can be cold, and I wanted to know if firewood was included. Julia said she would message the host to ask whether check-in time was flexible if traffic delayed us.
