A Full Day at the Language School
I am Yuki. I attend a language school in Dublin three days a week, and Tuesdays are always long. Relative clauses appear on the board, indirect questions come up in speaking class, and separable phrasal verbs sneak into every break.
At eight thirty I arrive early. I hang my coat up in the locker room and hang it up on the same peg each week. A classmate asks whether I know where the teacher who covers grammar is, and I point toward the office. Separable verbs wait inside the classroom door.
