Instructions the Trainer Gave During the Workshop
I am Jonas. I attended a two-day leadership workshop at the regional training centre, and afterward I emailed my team a recap of what the facilitator had asked us to do. Professional workshops rely on reported commands and clarifying questions that participants pass to colleagues who stayed in the office.
Facilitator Ms Ruiz had opened by asking whether everyone had received the pre-reading packet. She told participants to introduce themselves without using job titles. She asked if anyone had facilitated meetings before, and three people raised their hands.
During the first exercise, Ms Ruiz had asked how long we had managed teams in total. She asked us to form groups of four and not to choose familiar desk neighbours. She asked whether we preferred flip charts or digital boards, and the room split evenly.
