Starting a New Role After Remote Years, Which Changed My Routine

Orientation, which HR schedules across two mornings, covers policies whose details blur together until situations arise that reference them specifically.
Colleagues, who I previously met only through video calls, appear taller or shorter than cameras suggested. Personalities, which flat screens partially conceal, reveal themselves through hallway greetings and kitchen habits I observe cautiously before joining.
