I. The Red Hood

In a small village, near a very big wood, there lives a little girl. She is a sweet and good girl. Everyone loves her. The people in the village look at her and smile.

But her grandma loves her more than anyone. For Grandma, the girl is the best thing in the world. She thinks about her all the time. She wants to give her everything. When she sees her, she always has a little present for her. One day it is an apple. Another day it is a sweet bun or a flower from the wood.

Grandma does not live in the village. She lives alone in the wood, half an hour away on foot. Her house is small and old. It stands under three big oak trees. Near it there are some nut trees.
