Our Apartment Building
I live in a tall apartment building in the city. My family lives on the seventh floor. Our building is not new, but it is comfortable and our neighbours are very friendly.
When you come in the main door, there is a lobby with letter boxes on the left. There is a lift and there are also stairs. The stairs are wide and there are plants on each landing. People can use the lift or walk. My brother and I can run up the stairs in two minutes.
On the ground floor there is a small laundry room for residents. There are three washing machines and two dryers. My mother goes there on Monday mornings. She can usually find a free machine.
Our flat is on the seventh floor. There are three bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen.
