A Letter to My Pen Pal
Dear Amara,
Thank you for your letter. You told me about your school and your hobbies. I want to tell you about mine.
I live in a small town in the north of England. It is cold in winter, but I like it here. There are good shops and there is a library near our house. I can walk to school every morning. It takes fifteen minutes. My street is quiet and there are big trees along the path.
At school I can speak some French now. My teacher says I can have a short conversation. I can understand her when she speaks slowly. I can''t speak fast yet, but I can answer simple questions. Next year I can join the French club. There are students there who can speak French very well.
