The Tab with the Phone Number
Chris wants the phone number of the shoe repair shop before he leaves the house. His sister's shoes might be ready. She is in class and cannot call. The paper receipt is in her room, and the door is locked. A text from last week gives the shop name: Hem Lane Shoes. The number is not in the text.
He opens Chrome. A browser is the program that shows him websites. The address bar is at the top. He types Hem Lane Shoes and presses enter. Those words are not a full address, so the browser starts a search. The page fills with results. The first result is a shoe shop in another town. He clicks it. The page sells new shoes. It says nothing about repairs. He clicks the back button and returns to the results.
