A Weekend in the Countryside
Last weekend, my family stayed at a rustic wooden cottage in the countryside. The natural surroundings were peaceful and beautiful.
Behind the cottage, there is a winding footpath leading up into the green hills. Along the path, there are wild blackberry bushes and colorful wildflowers. Near the forest edge, there is a clear mountain stream. The water is cold and fresh, and there are smooth gray pebbles on the riverbed.
In the meadow, there are grazing sheep and two friendly brown horses. In the evening, there are thousands of bright stars in the dark sky. There isn't any traffic noise, only the quiet sound of the wind.
