The Passport in the Suitcase

Omar wants to fly tomorrow to see his sister. She lives in another country, and he has not seen her for a long time. Tonight he packs. He folds his shirts and puts them in a big suitcase. His passport is on the table. It is a small book with his name, his photo, and the date he was born. It also shows the country he comes from. He does not want to lose it, so he slides it between the shirts and closes the suitcase. Then he goes to sleep.

In the morning his father comes in with two cups of tea. He asks, "Where is your passport?" Omar points at the suitcase. His father opens it and finds the book under a blue shirt. He holds the page open. The photo is Omar.
