The Photo for Grandma

I want my grandma to see one photo from our holiday. This morning I put it on Instagram. Friends like the post and leave comments. One comment says "So beautiful!" Another says "Nice holiday!" I like reading them. But grandma does not open Instagram. She is the one who should see it, and she is not looking. The likes come from friends who were not on the trip.

I check the post again. More likes appear. I wait, with the phone in my hand, and grandma still does not write. My phone is full of other apps. Facebook is open. TikTok is open. A short video starts, and then an ad for a shirt appears. I close the ad. I am not here to buy clothes. I am here because of one photo.
