The Late Payment Email
Lena wanted to pay the electric bill before dinner. A letter on the table said the bill was ready online. She opened her laptop and put the kettle on. She was about to type the power company's address when a new email arrived.
The name on the email looked like the power company. The message said her payment was late, and it told her to click a link at once. She wanted the job finished. Her finger moved toward the link. Then she read the message a second time. One word was spelled wrong. The sender's name was close to the real name, but it was not the same. She had heard of emails like this. They try to trick a person into typing a password on a page that only looks real. She took her hand off the mouse.
