Clara Books the Guesthouse

Clara wants the sea, but she does not want a shuttle and a pool to be the whole trip. The booking page shows both. The resort is easy: a flight, a car from the airport, and a blue pool. The other room is a family guesthouse, and the way there is a train plus a walk from the station. She looks at the pool for a while. Then she books the guesthouse and closes the resort page.

She packs a bottle she already owns and takes the train. For this distance she would rather sit by a window than spend the day in airports. At the station a taxi driver calls to her. She smiles, says no, and walks. The guesthouse is a green door and a woman named Nia. There is no logo on the wall and no certificate in a frame.
