Sora on the Stairs

Farah heard the street door, then steps on the stairs. She looked at the calendar and stood up too fast. Late that morning she was supposed to be on a call. She was also supposed to be in the studio, taking photos. Both things sat in the same hour, and someone was already coming up.

The studio took photos of products for small shops. This morning the products were a set of cups. The shop wanted them back the same day, and the cups were already on the table, clean and turned toward the window. The call was about a later job. Farah had put it in the calendar weeks ago under the name S. Lee. Yesterday she had added the photo visit under Sora Lee. The calendar kept both lines. It did not know they were one person.
