My favorite sport is basketball. I love basketball very much. I started playing basketball two years ago. My brother taught me how to play. Now I play every weekend. Basketball is exciting and fast.
Basketball is a team sport. Each team has five players. They play on a rectangular court. The court has a hoop at each end. The hoop is called a basket. The players try to put the ball through the hoop. When the ball goes through, the team gets two points. If the player shoots from far away, the team gets three points.
I play basketball with my friends after school. We go to the park near my house. The park has two basketball courts. Sometimes the courts are busy. We wait for our turn. We practice shooting and passing. My friend Sam is very good at shooting.
