Yo soy el mayor de los nietos. Soy estudiante y mis amigos dicen que soy responsable. Mi hermana Clara es adolescente. Clara es extrovertida y sus ideas son originales. Mi hermano pequeño Mateo es travieso, pero es dulce.
Hoy es domingo y todos estamos en casa. La cocina está llena de olores buenos. Mi padre está contento porque el restaurante cierra los domingos. Mi madre está tranquila con su taza de té.
En el salón estamos viendo fotos antiguas. Las fotos son de blanco y negro. En una foto mis abuelos son jóvenes. En otra foto mis padres están en la playa. Las playas de Galicia son frías, pero son bonitas.
Mi tío Luis es hermano de mi madre. Luis es mecánico y vive cerca. Hoy Luis está en el jardín con mi abuelo. Las plantas del jardín son verdes y altas. Las rosas están en flor esta semana.
La casa de mis abuelos es antigua pero acogedora. Las paredes son grises y los suelos son de madera. En invierno la chimenea está encendida. En verano las ventanas están abiertas.
En la mesa somos todos diferentes, pero somos una familia unida. Mis primos son divertidos cuando están aquí. La comida de domingo es especial. Los postres son caseros y están deliciosos.
Al final del día estoy cansado de tanto hablar. Mis abuelos están felices con la visita. La familia es mi lugar seguro. Ser parte de esta familia es un regalo, y hoy estoy agradecido.

Ser is used for professions. After "es/son" comes the profession without article.
