A fictional family plans a home surprise party from Monday to Saturday, sends invitations, decorates the room and welcomes Dad.
El martes compramos guirnaldas y globos para decorar el salón. Clara eligió el color azul porque a papá le gusta mucho. Yo encargué una tarta de chocolate en la panadería del barrio.
El miércoles escribimos las invitaciones. Se las enviamos a la familia por mensaje. En el texto pusimos la hora: las cuatro y media del sábado. Mamá revisó la lista, pero no se la enseñó a papá.
El sábado por la mañana, el tío Luis lo llevó a dar un paseo. Mientras ellos estaban fuera, nosotros colocamos la mesa y escondimos los abrigos de los invitados en un dormitorio.
A las cuatro y media llegó la familia. Les dimos agua y les pedimos apagar las luces. Clara preparó una canción en el altavoz para el momento de la sorpresa.
Papá abrió la puerta a las cinco. Todos gritamos: "¡Sorpresa!". Se quedó quieto unos segundos, pero después sonrió y nos abrazó. Le dimos la tarta y le cantamos una canción.
Durante la fiesta, a los niños les gustaron los globos y a los adultos les gustó escuchar las historias de papá. A mí me gustó ver a toda la familia reunida.
A las ocho, los invitados se fueron. Clara y yo recogimos los platos porque queríamos dejar la casa limpia antes de dormir. Papá nos dio las gracias por la fiesta.
