Rosa wants the lights at home to stay on . She is in a cafe when an email arrives . It says Harbor Light , her power company , could not take her payment . The email says the power may go off if she does not click a link and type her password . The link is bright blue . Her thumb is already over it . She wants to press it and be finished . Then she looks at the sender . The name at the top says Harbor Light . The address under it is long and strange . It is not the address printed on the paper bill at home . The cafe is noisy , and for a moment she almost trusts the blue link anyway . She does not click , because a stranger is asking for her password . She also does not want to type it on the cafe Wi - Fi , a network she does not know . She locks her phone and walks home . When she gets home , her keys are still in her hand . She does not open the email again . She types the company address herself , the one from the paper bill . She signs in . The page is calm . There is no failed payment . The bill looks the same as last time . The message in the cafe was a lie . The lie still bothers her . For this site she can forget the long password , because the master password lets Bitwarden show it to her . The site then asks if she wants a code on her phone each time she signs in . She turns that on . She tests it once . The code arrives , she types it , and she is in . She does not go back to the cafe email . The lights were never in danger . Rosa puts the phone in a drawer and fills the kettle .
