Lina wants to see her sister . The sister lives in another city , and the bus takes too long , so Lina is at the airport with a small suitcase and a big bottle of juice . She wants to get on the plane , and she wants the juice for the time in the air . The first hall is full of people with bags . She holds her passport and her ticket and looks for the check - in desk . At the desk , an agent looks at the passport and the ticket . The agent smiles and gives Lina a boarding pass . She puts on her shoes , takes her suitcase , and walks out with the boarding pass and without the juice . After security , there are shops and places to eat . Now she can buy a small drink , because this drink does not go back through the detector . She buys water in a small bottle . It is not the juice from home , but it is allowed . She sits near her gate and watches the board . When the people at the door start to call the flight , she shows the boarding pass again and walks onto the plane . A flight attendant points to her seat . Lina puts the suitcase in the overhead bin and the small bottle under the seat in front of her . She sits down . The seat is narrow , and the plane is loud , but the big bottle is still at security and her sister is at the other end of this flight . Lina closes her hand around the boarding pass until the plane starts to move .
