Nina wanted to reach Edinburgh before her friend's neighbor went to bed . The neighbor was keeping the key . If Nina arrived late , she would have a city and no door . The screen at the airport said her flight was cancelled . A staff member offered a seat on a plane the next morning and pointed to a queue for questions . The queue was already long . People were asking about hotels , receipts , and what the airline owed them .
